On Sunday 11th November I volunteered to be a part of the
production crew filming the Remembrance Day service at Guildhall Square. The
jobs I carried out whilst in this role included transporting equipment to and
from the location, setting up and laying cables, helping set up equipment such
as cameraman talk back systems, being on call in the gallery area for various
duties and packing up the equipment. This was good experience as running duties
are the entry level job for what I want to do so understanding what needs to be
done and carrying it out will help me to get more running opportunities.
